Twenty9 is a platinum producer who has worked with artists such as SCH, Dinos, Maes, Lacrim, Angèle, Rilès, Yseult, Swing, Tsew The Kid, among others. At the beginning of 2020, he started collaborating with the music team in Sony Computer Science Laboratories – Paris.
As a hip-hop beatmaker, he’s used to digging into countless kits, scrolling into endless drum sample lists, so as to get a distinctive sound. This habit came in handy when he started using Sony CSL – Paris drum-generating plugins in order to create drum samples both ahead of their time and to the point. These top-notch drums make the most of a futuristic essence modeled by a timeless process.
« The A.I. Drum Kit » is an essential collection of drums generated by Artificial Intelligence prototype plugins developed at Sony CSL – Paris. It consists of 18 808s, 20 kicks, 29 snares, 15 claps, 8 rimshots, 15 hi-hats, 8 open hats, and 12 percs, all with a unique character designed by A.I. and processed by Twenty9. The goal is to take full advantage of the ability to generate an infinite amount of drums by the A.I. tools and to blend this with the taste and experience of a talented producer.
